A while ago I was approached to do develop a small tool that could essentially “Spy” on your competitors. At the time I wasn’t too interested because of Market Samurai being so prevalent nowadays. But when I asked for the features list, I knew this could be something really great.
So first off, a little bit of disclosure. Yes I developed this application. No I do not currently have a stake-hold in the application. I do not own a percentage of the company that owns the app, I took a lump sum to develop the framework for it. So don’t go all anxy on me that I’m pushing my own products!
So anyway, onto the actual application itself. SERP Intel is basically an almost one stop shop for your SEO needs. It doesn’t automate anything spectacular, but it speeds up everything immensely. It has 3 modules, those being the Rank Tracker, Competition Checker and SERP Stats.
Rank Tracker
The rank tracker is a simple tool to check where you rank in all the major Search Engines (Google, Yahoo and Bing). Ontop of that, it allows you to check for your broad phrase, exact match (Inside “quotes”), and allintitle type matches. Which pretty much covers all your bases. Now your probably thinking “What the hell, i can look up my rankings on my own”. While true, this tool can automate across 3 different search engines, 3 different match types, unlimited URL’s and unlimited keywords.
![]()
You will notice down the bottom it has a Save and Load feature. This is what really makes this tool handy. The ability to save all your results, and then take a look at them later in the tool is immensely helpful. I’ve used similar tools before, but it almost “forgets” your rankings once you close the application. Not only this, but the next time you load them in, and check all the rankings again. You can see where you’ve come from and your new rank. Almost like watching your rankings increase right before your eyes.
Competition Checker
The Competition Checker does exactly what it says on the tin. It checks your competition for your given keywords. Something that has always irked me in the past about SEO’s. Is that over time they tend to forget that on-site optimization, and things like domain age really pave the way for your rankings. Sure Google is all about backlinks at the end of the day, but alot of onsite optimizations can make your life a heck of alot easier.

As you can see, the ability to check the H1 tag, Keyword Density, Pagerank, Domain age, all along with the backlink counts is super super helpful. Using it really tells you what your up against, and how realistic your chances to dominate a keyword are. Which brings me onto the next module
SERP Stats
This module is what alot of people in Affiliate Marketing are looking for today. Something to tell them straight up what their chances are, and have the data to back it up. To be able to sit there, checking keywords and getting a definitive answer about how realistic your chances are is worth its weight in gold.

As you can see, it also checks the SERP’s for Web 2.0 pages like Squidoo, Hubpages, Weebly etc. Now how is this function useful to you? Those of you that create Linkwheel’s, or use Web 2.0 properties to get your rankings, will not instantly know whether you even have a chance with a Squidoo Lens or Hubpage. Not only that, but for regular SEO’s that don’t use Linkwheel’s, it is a good indicator of how difficult a certain keyword is.

So yes I know, I developed this so ofcourse I’m going to say this is pimp as hell. But seriously, in developing this tool i ended up using it for my own little purposes. And from that, I managed to develop a tool that I not only thought others could use, but one that I could use aswell.
If you want to get your hands on it, its current price is $57. However I’ve talked to the owner, and got a $20 off coupon (Hell, I have no idea why he gave me so much off, i certainly wouldn’t have offered a $20 coupon right off the bat!). So if you purchase from the link below, enter the coupon pyro48.
