OldSchool Method Of Framing And Cloaking Offers

Not that i use this any more, but this post will take me back to the days when this was THE way to do it. Its so funny when you look back on things you did years ago and think, “That was the dumbest idea ever”. This is sort of one of those things, in that its such a complete newbie tactic. But it does still work, and will keep working for years to come.

So first, what is Framing/Cloaking. Well if we take a regular CPA offer, it will usually look incredibly ugly.

And obviously its not the best to go posting this around everywhere. So first and foremost, we want to make this link look nice. Obviously we can go out and buy a domain and just redirect it, but we don’t always want to be blowing money on domains that we haven’t actually tested the water for yet.

Secondly, if you are driving sales from devious tactics. Then you will not want your affiliate manager finding out where the traffic is coming from (Atleast not right away). BTW, I am 100% against fraud, BlackHat traffic tactics are completely different to sending BS leads. So don’t confuse the two.

So where to now? Well, the solution lies in Joynic.com

The beauty of Joynic is that it gives you a 100% free domain (After jumping through some hoops). That you can then “Frame” any url you wish (aka your CPA offer). While there is other services out there that do this, Joynic offers really obscure domains like .us.tt and .au.tt. That most people dont associated with free domains (Like .co.cc and .co.nr, Everyone knows those are free).

So our first problem is solved. If we get a domain from joynic and frame our page. We are left with a nice, neat domain that we can use everywhere, and it isnt atrociously long or looks dodgy (Well, atleast not as dodgy).

And our second problem becomes slightly more solved, because for every person that goes through our Joynic domain, the referrer will show as our .au.tt or whatever. It wont show as our original traffic source. Ofcourse likely a quick google search for that domain will reveal where you have been posting it. But its just one more layer of protection.

And ofcourse, i know that yes, you can do this with a real .com domain. But, one thing i really hate, is seeing my bank account go down $10 at a time. Having to buy .com’s for offers that never really convert. If your Joynic domain really works out, then i would highly advise to switch to a .com and work from there. Its just always nice starting out something for free!
