Read anyone’s journal at DigitalPoint about article marketing and its almost a 90% chance that they will complain about EzineArticles approval time. Not only that but alot have a problem with even getting articles accepted at all. With enough people complaining, you would think that Ezine is the problem. But over the past few weeks in my spare time ive been writing articles just to see what will happen basically. Not once yet have i seen something that ive said “O thats BS”. There is two things most people complain about.
- Approval Time
All my articles have been approved within 3 days. Most of the time 2. Any less than this then there would be no point upgrading to premium now would there? Ill admit, a year or so ago when i tried article writing actually for real. I waited more then a week for articles to get approved. But nowadays there is absolutely no problem with it. - Getting Approved At All
I havent had one issue with getting approved so far. One article rejected because the anchor text was too long in my link. But that is clearly stated in the ToS so cant really complain about that. Yes its a crap rule but its a rule so live by it. Getting approved is all about how good your article actually is. I never really try a sales pitch in my articles because it just becomes such a diluted piece of crap with no real information in it.
The biggest problem is people need to learn how to actually formulate their articles properly. Ok so your selling a product about Mountain Biking (I dunno, just imagine!
). Write some information about looking for the best cycle tracks. Or the different type of brakepads (Disc, Pad etc). Maybe about which gear ratios work best for uphill or downhill. Actually give some information. You dont need to sell them the product in the article.
I think thats the biggest problem. If all you are doing is waffling on about how good an ebook is (I mean cmon, it cant be that good if its on the interwebz), then you just end up repeating yourself over and over “Yeah, you should get this ebook, it tells you lots of good stuff, so but it, yeah its good, so buy it, k thanks“. You will struggle to make the 200 words needed to submit the article. If need be, sit on wikipedia and search “Mountain Bike”, and just re-write what you see.
Not only will giving informative articles increase your chances of EzineArticles accepting it. You will be able to write more and more articles on a broader niche. Whereas if you write about the ebook itself, you would only ever be able to write about “Learning about Mountain Bikes” or similar. You will now be able to write about every single different component on a Mountain Bike.
No more complaining, write informative articles and enjoy your riches.
