I get a few emails every now again about turning Phoenix Desktop into something of an automated behemoth, but it just isnt going to happen, atleast not anytime soon. Let me say that again just so you understand what i am saying, “I Am Not Developing A 100% Spam Tool”.

What on earth do you need to load 1k accounts into an application, to all send the same tweet, and add 1k friends in a row other then to try and destroy twitter with spam. There is Marketing on twitter, then there is spamming. Even i get pretty annoyed with the blatant spam attempts that follow me. I mean cmon, no one is buying teeth whitening on twitter are they? How about the usual acai berry or colon clense rebills? Do people actually buy that stuff on there? Now i can put up with a few people pushing these products to me. But those people are exactly the same people that would use my application to load up 1k accounts and let rip and im not giving them even more power.

If you befriend people, mix in ads with real tweets, and generally not act like a complete moron. Your probably more likely to make money in the long run.I know its a bit of the pot calling the kettle black. But this is a no idiot zone.

Infact, ive actually been banned from The Pirate Bay, Mininova and Demonoid for uploading a “Spam” application. And that was on the very very first version of Twitter Friend Adder, which couldnt even fight its way out of a paper back. So you can imagine the publics lovely reaction to a full automation tool that sends a tweet a second.

So unless someone can tell me a reason why they need to add 143, 592 followers per day,  no more emails about it please~!:)
