Although yesterday I wrote a small review for SERP Intel, that isn’t what this post is about. A couple of day’s ago I saw this review on Tyler Cruz’s blog :

http://www.tylercruz.com/an-in-depth-review-and-case-study-of-infolinks/

If you read the whole way through. You’ll realize that Tyler puts a pretty bad spin on InfoLinks, and even the whole inline text link industry. Now all of the things he pointed out that were negatives, were legit problems. I definitely agree with him that inline text ads constantly give irrelevant results, and they look like absolute crud.So I mean, I’m not complaining about the fact that he wrote a negative review.

What I have a slight problem with, is that he took money for this review from Infolinks, and then wrote it in a negative light. If you check his advertise page, it does clearly state that he cannot guarantee a positive review.

But still, someone paid for you to write about their company, and if you slag them. Its sure as hell not money well spent for them. Infact I would think that you would get less and less reviews if your harsh all the time. Although on the flip side, it makes Tyler look a little more legit that he isn’t kissing ass to companies all the time. And so you can trust that a review written by him, is written on what he actually thinks of the service/product.

Now I’m not saying write rubbish reviews that don’t express your points. But just don’t accept the review, and don’t accept the money for it.

I’m not sure how many of you are with Pay Per Post/Social Spark type blogging platforms. Where they pay you per post (They actually pay fairly crap btw). But if you get offered a post, and you don’t like the product, or you don’t want to endorse it, then you just reject the offer and move on. You don’t take the money and run. Most people are with some sort of Pay Per Tweet services, like Ad.ly or Sponsored Tweets. And it’s the same with these. If you don’t like whatever product your supposed to be endorsing, then just reject it. Don’t take the money and then slag the company off.

A while ago I was approached to do develop a small tool that could essentially “Spy” on your competitors. At the time I wasn’t too interested because of Market Samurai being so prevalent nowadays. But when I asked for the features list, I knew this could be something really great.

So first off, a little bit of disclosure. Yes I developed this application. No I do not currently have a stake-hold in the application. I do not own a percentage of the company that owns the app, I took a lump sum to develop the framework for it. So don’t go all anxy on me that I’m pushing my own products!

So anyway, onto the actual application itself. SERP Intel is basically an almost one stop shop for your SEO needs. It doesn’t automate anything spectacular, but it speeds up everything immensely. It has 3 modules, those being the Rank Tracker, Competition Checker and SERP Stats.

Rank Tracker
The rank tracker is a simple tool to check where you rank in all the major Search Engines (Google, Yahoo and Bing). Ontop of that, it allows you to check for your broad phrase, exact match (Inside “quotes”), and allintitle type matches. Which pretty much covers all your bases. Now your probably thinking “What the hell, i can look up my rankings on my own”. While true, this tool can automate across 3 different search engines, 3 different match types, unlimited URL’s and unlimited keywords.

You will notice down the bottom it has a Save and Load feature. This is what really makes this tool handy. The ability to save all your results, and then take a look at them later in the tool is immensely helpful. I’ve used similar tools before, but it almost “forgets” your rankings once you close the application. Not only this, but the next time you load them in, and check all the rankings again. You can see where you’ve come from and your new rank. Almost like watching your rankings increase right before your eyes.

Competition Checker
The Competition Checker does exactly what it says on the tin. It checks your competition for your given keywords. Something that has always irked me in the past about SEO’s. Is that over time they tend to forget that on-site optimization, and things like domain age really pave the way for your rankings. Sure Google is all about backlinks at the end of the day, but alot of onsite optimizations can make your life a heck of alot easier.

As you can see, the ability to check the H1 tag, Keyword Density, Pagerank, Domain age, all along with the backlink counts is super super helpful. Using it really tells you what your up against, and how realistic your chances to dominate a keyword are. Which brings me onto the next module

SERP Stats
This module is what alot of people in Affiliate Marketing are looking for today. Something to tell them straight up what their chances are, and have the data to back it up. To be able to sit there, checking keywords and getting a definitive answer about how realistic your chances are is worth its weight in gold.

As you can see, it also checks the SERP’s for Web 2.0 pages like Squidoo, Hubpages, Weebly etc. Now how is this function useful to you? Those of you that create Linkwheel’s, or use Web 2.0 properties to get your rankings, will not instantly know whether you even have a chance with a Squidoo Lens or Hubpage. Not only that, but for regular SEO’s that don’t use Linkwheel’s, it is a good indicator of how difficult a certain keyword is.

So yes I know, I developed this so ofcourse I’m going to say this is pimp as hell. But seriously, in developing this tool i ended up using it for my own little purposes. And from that, I managed to develop a tool that I not only thought others could use, but one that I could use aswell.

If you want to get your hands on it, its current price is $57. However I’ve talked to the owner, and got a $20 off coupon (Hell, I have no idea why he gave me so much off, i certainly wouldn’t have offered a $20 coupon right off the bat!). So if you purchase from the link below, enter the coupon pyro48.

A few weeks ago, i went to the casino for the first time. Although its a local casino (Sky City Auckland if you care), and aint exactly Las Vegas., most of the marketing principles are the same. These guys literally are doing everything within their power to get you to sit down and play games non stop, without thinking about the money, without thinking about the time you spend in there.

The first thing you have to know. Is that of all the casino games available, Slots/Pokie machines have the worst odds for the general player. Just for the record, I stuck in about 60NZD into those things and didn’t win once. No free spins, not even like winning $2. Although by law over here, Slots have to pay out around 70% of what they take in. I think it could be lower, and in places like Vegas it is far lower then that. So if you stick in $100, you are expect to get out $70. Although that usually wont happen, and it will all be pooled till some lucky SOB wins everything that the suckers put in.

Game’s like Roulette or Blackjack, although still fairly shitty odds. IMO, they have a better chance of winning for a casual player. I played Blackjack for a bit, and gained like $100 in the 10 minutes i played. And then i walked away happy. The main difference is that Blackjack, you have small wins and loses, and you can play there for hours holding about even. But slots will chew $20 up in 5 minutes. So with that being said, the casino managers want as many people playing slots as they can.

So as soon as you walk into the casino, the first thing you notice is all the lights are dimmed. Its almost like a dank place. Hardcore gamblers will tell you its to do with people gambling away their families home and not wanting to be seen, but in all reality, its to brighten up the Slots. You see the slots have neon lights all around the things, and they are crazy bright. Not only that, but when you walk in, there is walls and walls of slots before you can get to the regular gaming tables. They are literally trying to force you to play a couple of games.

I ofcourse avoided these and kept walking to the tables, but after a few games i decided to get something to eat. Now here is the thing, the casino has like a fully functional restaurant RIGHT in the middle of the slot machines. You can buy things like mashed potato, steak, sausages, anything that you would cook at home, to feel at home, you can buy here. There is two reasons the restaurant is in the middle of the slots.

1. You don’t leave the casino to get food. Seriously the amount of choices (You could get chinese, indian and italian food) you have you would never leave the casino. Leaving the casino at 3am, would usually mean your not coming back. Even if you thought you were, by the time you get food in you, usually you cant be bothered walking back to the casino/bar (Trust me!).

2. You can hear “Cha-Ching” all around you.

That’s something else about slots. They are quiet as hell when your playing them. Just the ticking noise of the bars rolling over. But when you win, even if its only $2. You and everyone else within a 20 foot radius of you knows about it. And so while your sitting there eating, all you can hear is “winners” all around you. Making you think that it is the easiest game to win and play.

Ofcourse there is the usual ploys aswell. There is obviously no windows in a casino, they don’t want you knowing how long you’ve been there. So when you see the sun starting to rise your like “O shit been here too long”. And ofcourse no clocks either. Ontop of that, they do little sneaky things. They have TV’s all around (albeit no sound), so if your bored and want to have a beer, you can sit and watch a sports game. But the channels shown are ALWAYS non time specific. By that i mean, that you know the News is on at 6pm every night. So if you saw that, you know what time it is. Obviously they wouldn’t be showing the news in the casino. But they make sure that the TV channel gives no indication of what time it is.

What’s this all got to do with landing pages? Well two things really.

1. Dont give any reason for your visitor to leave your site/landing page. Just like the restaurant in a casino, they make everything available so you don’t have to leave. Hell they even have cheap cheap hotel rooms so you don’t have to go home.

2. Always funnel your visitors to your most profitable package. Give them the choice of the most profitable first, and then give them cheaper packages. You still want to get a sale of any type, but the more you focus on them buying the most profitable, the better off you will be.

If you really want, head over to your local casino and check it out. Don’t go in there to gamble hard, just to take a look around and see how they maintain/control their customers actions extremely well. There is a bunch of smaller things that i haven’t written in here that are still integral to a casino’s profitability. But check em out for yourself.

So i posted a while back, about how i made a small little bot to auto fill CPA offers. And yeah, its Fraud. And i would never even think to do such a thing nowadays. And i clearly stated that in the post, but some people still tried to convince me that it was just like “Getting your own back”. I had many conversations with people over it, but they always flowed in two different directions.

1. “CPA Networks have been ripping off people years with shaving/scrubbing like maniacs. Whats wrong with getting some of that back”.
2. “CPA Network offers always rip off people with those “Free Laptops”, i mean who actually gets a free laptop” <– Actually not that bad of a point.

First lets talk about the similarities between the two arguments, and then ill go into them individually. First off, just because you don’t like something, or don’t like how something is run, does not mean you can do illegal deeds to set things straight. If you walked into a store, and saw that prices were sky high and ridiculous over priced, does it give you the right to then shop lift? Even if we go deep into law, retaliation never gets you off any crime. Even crimes of passion, (Finding your wife in bed with someone else, then going beserk), does not lift all the onus off you.

Point 1

Although this mostly falls on the above, scrubbing leads is actually not an unknown or devious concept. I think most people get shaving and scrubbing mixed up. Scrubbing is remove BS leads, or leads that don’t fall under certain criteria. So if the advertiser is looking for only males to sign up to their offer, and a female signs up. Then that lead will be scrubbed/removed. Some advertisers come out in the open and tell you what is scrubbed and what isnt, others are more devious and kind of keep it behind locked doors.

Shaving is the process of removing leads without any real reason. Most commonly its to keep a CPA offer profitable. The thing you have to realize about CPA is that an email address is worth only so much. And that lead has to do some offers on the back end, or convert some other way for the advertiser otherwise its worthless. The more crap leads the advertiser gets, the more he has to shave to keep afloat. As you can probably see, sending fraudulent leads to an advertiser, well that’s never going to work out in the backend. And so the advertiser will have to raise his shaving rates further to string together a profit. So while you think that your doing the world some good getting your own back by teaching those good for nothing shaving networks a lesson, your actually the one causing the high shaving rates.

Point 2

To be honest, i don’t actually know whether people actually get sent this junk. One would assume so as there is really no reason to not send it. The lead has to do a trillion offers on the back end to receive it though, and probably would have been better off getting a minimum wage job to earn the money to buy the item. Logic would probably tell us that there really isn’t enough “Free Offers” to do on the backend to work up enough money to get a $500 laptop. And to get it you more then likely would have to do a rebill (<– sucks). Although once again, your not the hero of the day by sending fraud leads. And once again, the advertiser will just make the legit leads do even more crappy offers to get his money back.

At the end of the day, sending Fraud leads to CPA Submit Offers, is partly what is causing such high shaving and BS tactics by advertisers. Thinking that you are doing good by ripping them off further will only mean they have to further penalize legit publishers to get their money back.

If you’ve been on Facebook at all in the past week, you would have seen fan pages just explode out of nowhere spamming offers and CPA gateways. To say the least its been crazy, and i know off hand a bunch of people who have made good money following my quick 101 guide. Cant say i invented fan pages, or that i invented the methods that people are using, but i can say i taught people the basics and they then went on to make extreme amounts of money.

The Fan pages im talking about are ones like “Free Ipad Testing” or “Free $XXX Giftcard”. Don’t ask me why, but people on Facebook are so susceptible to this kind of garbage and eat it time and time again. Just among my real life circle of friends, I’ve seen people join multiple fan pages over the same offer. Like the Free Ipad one’s, i saw my friends joining 5 of them, and inviting me to all. I’m not really sure what that says about me being friends with these people, but the fact is that people outside of affiliate marketing don’t know about CPA.

It only looks stupid from my end, because i know exactly whats going on. I know what CPA is, and how it works. But for your average joe, it looks just too awesome that there is 10k fans of a page giving away an Ipad.

The BS could only last so long and Facebook have started deleting pages like crazy now. Infact i think anything with the word “Giftcard” in the title is automatically canned. So marketers will have to break from the crowd (If that’s possible), and start doing something unique. Its not that hard to get a Facebook fan page going, but it is hard to keep it not getting canned if your trying to give away CPA offers. Even if its a legit group and your just advertising CPA on it, (As in a mafia wars group, and then you advertise clickbank products on it), Facebook are starting to get weary of these aswell.

Also, you should probably rethink which CPA networks you are with. For the most part i don’t think there is that much wrong with doing these fan pages with Facebook. I mean, the leads ARE legit. And they are probably just as likely to work out in the backend as a lead from a contextual banner. But I do know networks that will use any excuse to get out of paying. And lets be honest, its a slight “trick” to be saying you are giving out free Ipad’s. Even if you’ve got an offer that is giving out Ipad’s, you’ve still got to be careful how you word everything.

Although i dont deal with Facebook anymore, i cant say which networks i used, as im still waiting on my payments

As most of you know, I’m in the process of finding a job to expand my knowledge in the C#/.net development area. The job hunt is going semi alright, well, i still haven’t found one yet. Which for the most part isn’t that worrying because i’m getting one to expand my knowledge and work on larger projects, not because I’m sick of Internet Marketing. With that being so, I haven’t really busted my balls applying for jobs that don’t really suit. I’ve only really applied for ones that i think I would really really enjoy working for. As a side note, I’ve had an interview + communication with a Paypal like company that operates in New Zealand. They are basically an online payment gateway, and apparently (From people I’ve spoken to), easily the best in the country. I don’t really want to name them, but anyway, that’s not the point of this post.

One thing I’ve known for a long time, is that some of the best jobs don’t get listed online. Recruitment companies have hundreds of CV’s on file, and usually call existing clients rather then go through a bunch of interviews with no hopers. With that in mind I’ve been calling them directly, no more BS waiting online for things to get listed.

At first I have to admit, I was pretty nervous. There is lots of talk lately about “Blacklists“. Which basically means that if you go to an interview, and BS your way through it, or you are obviously a dickhead. You get placed on a blacklist which is shared around between companies/employers/recruiters. So that when you apply for jobs later on, they don’t bother getting back to you cause they already know your a retard. In New Zealand its actually illegal, much like discriminating against looks and race. I mean your not supposed to, but if your running a call center, can you really afford to “not” discriminate against another race if their accent is going to get in the way? Your not supposed to, but it happens.

I thought for sure that if i call them and either sound real cocky, or come across as too confident, that I might have one of those black marks next to my name. But to my surprise when i called them, they were really bending over backwards to accommodate me. I think I had forgotten the most important thing, these people are making a living off me. Matching me with a job could earn them thousands. And by talking to me on the phone, they aren’t losing anything…

Forgetting about the blacklists for a second, if i call them and it doesn’t go well and they say “sorry, nothing matches your profile”. Then what have i lost? 10 minutes later someone else will call them and probably get the same reply. These guys do it for a living so it all mashes into one and they will never remember your name.

This is super true for one recruitment company that i think almost all of my friends have been through. Years ago when i finished my System Engineering qualifications, i was applying for a tonne of jobs to do with Microsoft Networking and Administration. It was almost a running joke between me and my friends, that this one guy from a rather large recruitment company, would always call us and talk to us on the phone. And then say the infamous “Ok will get back to you” or “I’ll forward on the details”. Ofcourse that never happened. And it wasn’t just me, everyone got the run around from this guy. I’m sure he did put notes down for our calls, but so often he would call us up for other job opportunities, or we would call his company and get him, and he wouldn’t recognise us at all.

Funnily enough I even got this same guy, that i had spoken to all that time ago, on the phone a couple of days ago. And once again, he didn’t remember me (Not that i prompted him or tried to remind him). And he forwarded me on a job profile that he thought fitted well with what i was after. (Although i’m just waiting for the “Ill get back to you” line).

It reminded me alot of how online, people seem afraid to contact others to do ventures together. Or to co-promote. Ofcourse things have to be win-win for it to work. But most of the time people are more then happy to gather another stream of income. Personally, people have come to me with an application idea and said, “I’ve been wanting to do this for ages, but I didn’t want to just come out of the blue to you”. Why not?

Chances are I’m going to tread on you for all of 5 seconds and tell you your idea is hopeless and wont work. But that will seriously only be a moment in time, and then I will forget about it. You think people haven’t come to me with piss poor ideas for applications before? I get tonnes, but sitting here right now writing this post. I couldn’t tell you the names of the people at all. Hell even the ideas are pretty vague in my head right now so I cant even tell you what i turned down.

But there is always a small chance that ill say “hell yeah! lets get going”. And we go on to make a successful venture together.

Once again, don’t be afraid to contact people straight off the bat with ideas you have going. It does not hurt one bit, and your embarrassment for being turned down will only be a tiny smidgen in your life compared to how much time you will devote when you find that guy who will help you.

A few days ago i added a chatbox to my PyrogeniusCommenter sales page. It is located just at the bottom under the “More Questions” heading. For the most part, i dont get that many people opening up the chat on their own. Infact very few per day. But the software im using to chat to my customers can instigate a chat on their browser window. Its hard to explain just in words, so ill start at the start (Always a good place to start).

The software/script im using. Is LiveZilla. Its an open source, free script that is pretty much the most thorough freeware ive ever come across. It is so complete top to bottom, and probably better then every customer support chat out there.

Installation is easy, it comes with its open inbuilt FTP client aswell, which to be fair is extremely slow. But it helps that it doesnt worry you with the details of what to upload. From there you just select your username, password, and your away.

To place on your webpage, its just a small javascript snippet that you can place anywhere. You can head over to PyrogeniusCommenter.com to take a look at how it all looks. But please dont start crazy amounts of chats, it’s annoying as hell

Where the real beauty of Livezilla comes in, is in the server administration. Its actually a desktop application that sits on your taskbar and runs pretty much like every other program. I really love it when people break from the “Must be a webpage” mentality, and go out and make something thats actually useful . From the admin application, i can see anyone who opens my sales page. So in a way it tracks stats aswell. When someone views my webpage it looks almost like if you had a new message on MSN.

Now remember how i said i can instigate chats? Ill show you what i mean. So from the admin panel, i can right click any user who is currently viewing my webpage. And i can “Ask” them to chat with me. With whatever message i want.

Then on the customers browser, they see a small little popup box. Do note that this popup box is NOT blocked by any popup blocker. I tested in both Firefox and Chrome. Its not a new window as such, but just some fancy javascript in the background.

Sure, to some it pisses them off to no end. But its simple enough to just close it and keep reading, or move away from the site. The good thing with me instigating the chat, is so often, a customer has something that they want to know, but they cant get it off the sales page. Emailing me, or going to a forum that i frequent to ask me is often seemed to long winded and they just give up. Times people have accepted my request to chat, they have had just one or two questions like “Does this application allow for the user of proxies”, I say “Yes”, next thing you know they buy.

It almost seems stupid, that one small Yes/No question can convince the buyer to part ways with his/her money. But it seriously does happen.

Other times, its given me a small chance to wind in that customer even more. To almost work like a retail worker in a clothing store. I have a stack of small coupons that i give out to customers that are on the verge of buying. To me, whats $5.. To the customer, they also dont care about $5 in the long run. But its enough to tip them over the edge, and without that last minute selling. I would never have got it.

Others who ive told this to, have thought that its just far too much work. But really, none of my chats with customers have lasted longer then 10 minutes. And often they are simple questions to answer. And if they are buying a $40 product, then thats $40 for 10 minutes work. Obviously not automated money. But if you gave a small coupon to that person, they will then go share it with their friends and it can quickly add up.

Ok so there is a bunch of people out there asking questions on how to make fan pages like all those guru ones with the “Add me here” buttons etc. And also how to make hidden sections, its all quite easy but it isn’t really written out in black and white. Some people were going to start charging for this stuff, but its ridiculous. Its so easy!

Do note however, that you do need to know some good HTML skills. And a good knowledge of how pages are generated. I’m not going to walk you through how to create a clickable link

Step 1.
Create a fan page. NOT a group. The best thing about a fan page, is that you arent seen to be the creator. A fan page is anonymous. And on top of that it has a few extra features.

Step 2.
Go to the Static FBML fan page :

http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=4949752878&ref=search&sid=100000762395305.2195135..1

On the left hand side, underneath the display picture there is a link for “Add To Me Page”. Obviously click it. A box will then popup and you will have to select your fan page from the list. If you have many fanpages, then you can add it to any of them etc.

The reason we use Static FBML tabs on our page, is because it allows Facebook Markup language, allows for custom tab titles, AND allows alot more HTML to be put onto your page.

Step 3.

Download Firebug for Firefox, OR use Google Chrome. Im going to use Firebug/Firefox for this demonstration so if your using Chrome, you can just follow along. Do note that Firebug is incredibly useful so don’t be worried about having useless crap on your Firefox.

Step 4.

Create your page!

So your probably thinking, WTF. I just downloaded Firebug, what the hell for! Ok well you know how alot of groups have awesome “Click here to become a fan” buttons. And you can never work out how they make the link clickable? Well heres how.

Go back to your page, and click the “Edit Page” button on left hand side.

There should be a list of your modules, one of them will be “FBML”, click edit on this one.

Change the title to be whatever you want. If your doing one of the typical win a free ipod! Then call it “Heres how you win” etc. The space below that is for ANY HTML markup. This also means that remember to put <br /> in your code for line breaks.

Step 5.

In a new tab open up your facebook fan page. Right click the “Become A Fan” button, and select “Inspect Element”.

Note, This will only work with Firebug for Firefox.

A box should come along the bottom of your screen containing the HTML markup. For this particular element, the link is just above the span tag, so :

Copy out that whole <a> tag. From there you can paste it into your FBML tab, and add an image button (You will need to cut the image yourself). Your link will now be clickable, and when people click on it, they will join the group.

You can do this with things like inviting friends aswell. Just inspect the element of that link/button. And grab the <a> tag off it.

Step 6.

Alot of people nowadays are doing hidden sections. Im not really going to go into detail about how to do it. Ill just give you the code, you can work it out

<fb:fbml version=”1.1″>
<fb:visible-to-connection>

Hidden content in here!

</fb:visible-to-connection>
</fb:fbml>

Often what people do. If they have a button with “Be A Fan”. And then to win the ipod or whatever, they say “Become a fan and step 2 will be revealed”. And this works because if step 1 is becoming a fan, once they are a fan the hidden section will be revealed etc. Whatever, its all pretty shady but do what you will with it.

Step 7.

You will also want to change your landing page to your static page so that straight away they get hit with the business. Also if you use Static FBML, when you view this page you cant see how many fans there are already for that page. Meaning that you can pretend your a huge group and they wont know until they go to the wall tab.

On your main Fan page tab, or more known as “Your Wall”. There is a link called “Settings”. Click this.

In that small menu there will be a setting called “Default Landing Tab for Everyone Else:”. Change this to your landing page tab. So that any new visitor will go directly to it.

Step 8.

Also just as an extra little tidbit. There is a javascript snippet that can be used to invite all your friends at once to the page, without having to invite them individually. So basically click the “Suggest To Friends” link on the left hand side of the fan page. And a small window will come up with all your friends. Copy and paste the following code into your ADDRESS BAR up the top.

javascript:elms=document.getElementById(‘friends’).getElementsByTagName(‘li’);for(var fid in elms){if(typeof elms[fid] === ‘object’){fs.click(elms[fid]);}}

Its just a simple javascript snippet, that selects all your friends at once. You can give this to your fans aswell to have them invite all their friends at once.

Conclusion

There is probably a massive amount that i missed. But the thing is to learn it, you really have to get out there and do it. Look at other viral pages and see how they work. Often a viral page isnt just down to luck, its about how they market it, and how they brand all their pages.

Before i delve too deep into this post. I just want to say that i have/will NEVER do this. It is fraud of the highest degree and you WILL get caught. Do not email me asking for more tips on how to rip off CPA Networks because you wont get a reply. Im surprised I even have the gall to write this here, as i know at least one of my Affiliate Managers comes every now and again to read this blog.

So anyway, this all started a while back when on a forum i frequent, someone posted a “Silent Submit” solution. Basically it was supposed to take an email submit, auto fill it in, and then submit it. Either you could take the details from a database that you hosted or you could get the user to enter his details, and then send it off to multiple submits aka illegal. So anyway the solution was posted up and it was wrong. So wrong infact that it didn’t have a hope in working. The idea was right, but the implementation was far off.

The solution was to do with Javascript and Iframing. Now you see, those two don’t go together. When you iFrame a website, you don’t get any information from that website, and you in no way can control it. The solution actually didn’t iframe, it had a hosted form and on the same page in the same source, it had javascript to fill in fields. I don’t know about you, but i don’t know of any way of hosting my own submits and/or adding javascript to any networks submits. I guess in a way it was right that you could use javascript to auto fill fields, you could use the application to auto fill a email opt in form THAT YOU HOST. But NOT a CPA offer.

I don’t know why, but the forum went on a frenzy saying they were going to implement it straight away. But it was blatantly obvious that 1. 99% of them weren’t going to and 2. the other 1% didn’t have any idea how to do it. It was later on that someone posted “O just Iframe it” (Which was completely wrong), and people were just running in circles. I posted in the thread saying that i could build this both in an ASP webpage, or a C# desktop application. For some reason, i got told that i shouldn’t take over the thread. Whatever.

So i got a few messages from people interested in doing it on an ASP page. But the sad thing was no one even knew what ASP was, or the difference between a Windows and Linux server. So that kind of washed away any hope of JV’ing. Well, to be fair i wasn’t looking to make money with it. At the time i was thinking, “If i made this, i would be a kingpin in the CPA world”. I dunno, stupid thoughts.

It was a couple of days later that i thought, im so sick of people talking BS. Ill just make it and then see what people think. I built a small Proof Of Concept (POC) application that could auto fill in any web form. When i mean ANY webform, i mean absolutely anything out there. I built it with a free lotto offer built in so anyone could view it and see that it could submit it in. I posted it into a new thread and asked if anyone wanted to take it further.

To my surprise people were just dead. I hardly got a response. It boggles my mind, as to why when a completely wrong/no working solution is posted up people went crazy. And now when i post mine that actually works, people dont want to know about it. Maybe im just a tad jealous of all the attention, but it was just stupid. Period. Anyway i did get a few responses, but all from people who had no idea how to run things. They didn’t really have any idea on the power of it, and just wanted to let it rip.

The application itself was built on .net framework 2.0 (I actually think i could have gone lower aswell). So it would have ran on almost any machine. My idea was to harvest emails, build a database of emails, firstnames, lastnames, zips etc. And then bind the application onto another exe like a popular game, and then let it loose on the torrents. When they double clicked the game exe, my application would load in the background, submit its stuff, and then stop. I actually made it so it would call my server each time it was started, and my server would give it back the variables needed to carry on. Even things like which offer url it was submitting to could be changed around on the fly. It was a very good working system.

But no one wanted a bar of it. And probably for good reason. Looking back it was far to powerful and fraudulent to get running and i would never pursue it now.

For those who are interested, 10 minutes before i wrote this post i developed another POC similar to my original. You can download it here.

If you cant get it going, try moving it from your desktop. Something to do with .net permissions etc. It just opens up a bingo website, and fills in the username, password, and email box to what you specify. It doesnt submit it, nor does it play around with the other values. Its just showing you basically what it can do with auto filling in forms. Easy easy work in C#, but meh.
