CPALead Doesn’t Shave

Its sad to see when a good network gets some bad rap from a few idiots. Now im not saying CPALead is perfect, and sometimes they do some pretty dumb stuff (The banner incident is one of them, but anyway), but they certainly aren’t as bad as some “other” people make them out to be. Lets go through the big 4 accusations shall we :

1. CPALead Doesn’t Pay/Doesn’t Pay On Time/Bans You Before Payday :
Ive been with CPALead for over a year now. And ive been paid every single time through paypal, usually a day earlier then normal. There was a case where the payment was 10 days late, however they sent out an email about it (This was probably when i first started with them actually), and then made up for it with the next months payment being 10 days earlier. Obviously still a pain in the ass about being late, but that was once, and they emailed every publisher + posted in forums way before payday that their was issues. Ill forgive ‘em for that.

2. CPALead Takes Huge Cuts Of The Offers :
Ive actually already written a post on this before. You can read it here : CPALead Vs Incentivised Offers. Now what i will say is Yes, they do take a cut. But it is a very small one. And infact if you check many of CPALeads offers. They seem exclusive to them. Or atleast are not listed at Offer Vault.

3. CPALead Shaves
Here’s the problem with this theory. Ask any medium sized publisher that runs with CPALead what their conversion ratio or EPC is. I push through a decent amount of traffic with them, and i usually sit around 25% conversion. And anywhere between 0.10 – 0.25 EPC (Varies because of the CPALead Events Method). For starters, the conversion ratio is through the roof of any other network i have seen. And most people will try and combat this by saying that the surveys pay peanuts. And to a point i agree, but the EPC you get is beyond anything else you can do. Try and find any kind of email submit that will give you above 0.10. You will be hard pressed i can tell you that much.

4. CPALead Shaves Clicks To Pad Ratios
Now when i tell people that CPALead doesn’t shave, and i show them the numbers. They tell me that CPALead is removing clicks from my account to make it look like im getting a good conversion ratio. Well the problem with this theory is that you can test it yourself. Create a gateway or use the offer by itself. And open it in a window. Wait 5 seconds. Check your stats panel. And what do you know, a click is registered. You want to sit here all day and test it?

Seriously, I dont know why CPALead carries such a bad name in the Internet Marketing world. I havnt found a single shady thing about them. The funniest thing about all this, is that when people are bashing CPALead, they try and push an alternative. Now im not going to name the alternative (Im pretty sure we both know who i mean), but seriously, it is no alternative to CPALead.

CPALead :

  • Rotates offers in and out according to their EPC or Conversion Ratio
  • Finds new offers for you on a daily basis
  • You can customize the gateway with buttons, text, background images etc
  • No worrys about not getting paid
  • Is a network within itself
  • Free to use

Other Gateways :

  • You have to test different offers to see what work on your own, which means checking the ratios everyday
  • You have to find your own offers from other networks
  • Gateway (As far as ive seen) is always the same
  • Issues about getting paid from networks that dont like shit traffic
  • You have to pay to just get the code
  • You have to join other networks and combine offers

There is so much more and i could go on all day. Really,  ive kinda gone off the rails as this post was supposed to be just about the non-existant CPALead shaving, not about its competitors. Feel free to leave a comment if you truly believe CPALead is shaving, and if you have some proof other then “I heard it from someone”.
