Im not going to repeat everything ive already said on the download page so… Essentially its a tool to find all offers on almost every CPA network out there. It wasnt an extremely hard application to build. Just ALOT of data flowing through which meant alot of typing code that essentially did piss all. Not to worry though, the end product is actually fairly cool and works quite nicely.

If your still sitting there wondering what it does, well, essentially it goes to twitter with your keyword, and looks up the last 100 people who used those keywords in their tweets. It then takes those twitter accounts, and inputs them into Sponsored Tweets API. If it so happens that those users are selling their twitter stream through sponsored tweets, it will then grab all the information it can about that account. This includes Follower count, Klout Score, Twitter Grader Score, Age and many other seemingly useless information.

If your wondering what you could possibly do with all of that. Well basically you can then buy a tweet (Notice the name sponsored tweets now? ), from that person. The rest of the data is there to help you make a good decision about which tweet to buy. Alot of people do sit their “per tweet” cost quite high. But you can definitely get a bargin on there. Not only that, but even just going straight to affiliate offers you can make a tonne. So give it a try

O and btw, you will need an account at Sponsored Tweets. If you want to sell your own tweets then signup as a tweeter, but if you want to buy others (and use this app), then signup as an advertiser.

There has been a few changes to Phoenix Twitter Desktop, (If you are using it you would have been prompted to update). Most of it wont even effect you and the application doesnt have any new features. It was mostly under the hood stuff but it was something that i had been wanting to do for a while.

Alot of the changes were just condensing down code and trying out new things that i have learned. As ive posted many times on here (And elsewhere), my twitter applications were the very first applications i ever made. Well ones that i shared anyway. And although at that point i had had professional Microsoft training, there was still alot  i needed to learn. And hence this update

Other then behind the scenes stuff, i have made 20% of friend adding runs add my PyrogenicMedia twitter account. Some people may see this as a sneaky change but im posting it here, and if you actually bother to read the update notes in the app, i made it in full plain sight that i was making that change. Interestingly enough, i actually cant keep up with the amount of people adding me now so i may lower the percentage. Just goes to show how many people use this application!

Other then that i still dont have any planned updates that i want to get pushed out at this point. Ive got a few things that i want to do but just no time to do it. But for now, the application still runs as good as ever.

I get a few emails every now again about turning Phoenix Desktop into something of an automated behemoth, but it just isnt going to happen, atleast not anytime soon. Let me say that again just so you understand what i am saying, “I Am Not Developing A 100% Spam Tool”.

What on earth do you need to load 1k accounts into an application, to all send the same tweet, and add 1k friends in a row other then to try and destroy twitter with spam. There is Marketing on twitter, then there is spamming. Even i get pretty annoyed with the blatant spam attempts that follow me. I mean cmon, no one is buying teeth whitening on twitter are they? How about the usual acai berry or colon clense rebills? Do people actually buy that stuff on there? Now i can put up with a few people pushing these products to me. But those people are exactly the same people that would use my application to load up 1k accounts and let rip and im not giving them even more power.

If you befriend people, mix in ads with real tweets, and generally not act like a complete moron. Your probably more likely to make money in the long run.I know its a bit of the pot calling the kettle black. But this is a no idiot zone.

Infact, ive actually been banned from The Pirate Bay, Mininova and Demonoid for uploading a “Spam” application. And that was on the very very first version of Twitter Friend Adder, which couldnt even fight its way out of a paper back. So you can imagine the publics lovely reaction to a full automation tool that sends a tweet a second.

So unless someone can tell me a reason why they need to add 143, 592 followers per day,  no more emails about it please~!:)

Every now and again i enjoy going through my referrer logs for this site, and checking out which little niche forums are sending traffic here. Its kind of cool to see people sharing my program around and giving me props for being a mad ass programmer (Ha, just kidding, bet my head wont fit through the door now). If you follow this blog closely, i have had problems with people uploading to sharecash or trying to on sell my application , which aint cool. But if people want to write a method then link them here to get Twitter Friend Adder or now for Phoenix, then i have no problem with that.

So anyway, onto the point. I had been getting a trickle of visitors from Warrior Forum. If you dont know what Warrior Forum is, its essentially a more serious version of DigitalPoint. Well or so they think. And like most forums it just gets over taken by Buy, Sell, Trade (BST) threads. So i finally traced back the referal to this thread HERE. Now, essentially he is just doing the same old with revtwt. Which btw does work but not the way he explains it. What frustrates me is that he is sharing out my twitter friend adder from MegaUpload. I mean why cant he just link here and give me some traffic back ? Even more so, he is sharing version 2.1. Now i dont keep tabs on release dates, but that version is way out of date.Someone had already posted that it was out of date and gave people the link here (If your reading this, thanks! ). So i didnt really have much trolling to do. Otherwise i would have rampaged through as per normal.

What strikes me, is that his thread on Warrior Forum, is exactly the same as another thread i have read. Infact, exactly the same as MANY threads i have read. How do i know its the same? Well because all of them all point to the same megaupload of my Twitter Friend Adder, and all of them are pointing to an old version. Not only that but look :

Google says 24k results but it will be a bit less then that. Its probably more like a few hundred results all sharing the same method. Even still, a few hundred people all copy and pasting the exact same thing everywhere is pretty funny.

It should be about the 5th result down on your screen there. So if we head over to the thread on DP. We can see he is selling the exact same method once again. He didnt even bother to change the title. I think what tipped me over the edge was the reviews he got, all 9/10.  Essentially all he has done, is made them signup to revtwt under his ref, and then gave them an old version of my friend adder, and charged them for it. If i had seen this earlier i would have definitely torn through there and ripped him a new one. But i dont feel like bumping it now. But do please feel free to send death threats through the PM system to the seller.

I have just pushed an update that should allow you to open multiple windows of the Friend Adder within Phoenix. I tested thouroughly myself but let me know how it goes (There is only so much i can test). There shouldnt be any problems (Or so im hoping), as i split off each window into its own memory space so they are completely seperate entitys now. Mind you that hasnt stopped bugs in previous versions has it

Also since the new update allows for multiple windows to be opened, there isnt really any reason why i should keep the link up for the old Twitter Friend Adder. So unless someone comes up with a good reason within the next two hours, ill be redirecting all traffic that goes to that link, straight to Phoenix Twitter Desktop . Also ill be taking down the download link (So if your reading this and you dont know why, its because you hit a 404 when you tried a direct download).

I am so happy with this release. Well, sort of. It definitely is a mile stone programming wise for me. The application is fully auto updateable, installs onto your computer for easy access from your start menu, and is my first fully functioning “MDI” application.

In a few days i will take down the Twitter Friend Adder page and redirect it to the Phoenix page. I see no reason to keep them both alive (Especially as i will no longer be updating Twitter Friend Adder).

Anyway enough talk from me, just go download the application and check it out. This is only the initial release and i have a few updates already in the pipeline to really make this thing really a power force in twitter automation.

Well, after some long hard work, i have finally finished the beta version of Phoenix Twitter Desktop. Essentially at the moment it has the same function as my original Twitter Friend Adder, but it has a completely new interface, and a completely new way of dealing with alot of problems that the previous versions suffered from .

Here’s some features off the top of my head :

• Brand new interface to allow for major expansion and new tools added
• Now saves passwords for accounts, and can load accounts in “username:password” format, so hardly any typing is needed
• Tweet scheduler. You can now load up a file and set the timer to tweet a message from that file every x minutes.
• Using MDI allows for multiple instances of the application to be opened, but for all of them to only take one space on the task bar.
• Ads Maybe not a feature you will be happy with, but its just a banner ad, much like a website would have ads. Just allows me, inside my head, to justify giving it away for free .
• Install file, the application now installs so that you can run it from the start menu. That also means its nice and tidy with all its respective files. Do note the application will NOT touch your registry.
• Easy uninstall, you just go to add and remove programs and it removes everything to do with the application (Not that you will ever need it).
• Auto update, this is basically my favourite part. You see im constantly working on this application, but i cant have a new release every day can I! So with auto updating, i can have mini micro-updates that just fix small bugs, without you needing to redownload.
• A bunch more but you can wait

So anyway, what i need is a few people to be my “beta testers”. Essentially you get nothing from it apart from having it slightly earlier then anyone else. But you will be kept in mind for private programs of mine (I have plenty), and when i need testing on those. Im going to release this in the coming days (Maybe even today), but i just want to make sure that EVERYONE can get it going first time.

For a while now ive been thinking on how to improve my Twitter Friend Adder application into something far more powerful. I mean sure, adding friends is a very important part of Twitter, but so is interacting with your users, sending out DM’s to your followers, using trends to your advantage, along with many other things. So, ive started working on an entirely new interface for it.

It will be more like a “Twitter Desktop” approach i guess. If you want, you can download this little “MDI Test” to show you basically how i am going to do it. Essentially it will just be a open plan window (Similar to Photoshop), where you can open any child window inside of it. And the child windows can be anything from alerts for @ messages to (ofcourse), friend adding. The download above actually doesn’t provide all too much info about how the product will work. Just how it will look.

Along with a new product, comes a new price, and it isnt $0.00. Im not sure on an initial price, but it will be reasonably cheap (Much cheaper then anything else out there), and could be as low as $1. Oh and there will be a monthly fee (Booo!), which you will all probably hate. But its actually for your own good, a monthly fee ensures that im motivated to keep providing updates, lest my users get pissed off and leave.Not only that but i can guarantee that not all of you will be marketing on twitter forever. Some people just want to take a stab at it, and so paying a smaller, almost trial fee, will be beneficial.

So, although good news about me developing again, bad news about selling it. But like i say, it will be chump change. And aslong as you know what your doing with twitter, you wont have a difficult time making that money back.

Over the past couple of days ive been getting some pretty “lulz” worthy comments (And emails), from people that are somehow thinking they can threaten me. Now when i say threaten, i think they mean tell everyone in their population 100 town. You see apparently, giving away something for free is “just me scamming”. Yes thats right, I develop software in my free time, just so i can scam you guys.

You may ask how the hell am i scamming when im not selling anything, i mean you can download if for free right? Well this is what i thought. But apparently the new definition of scamming, is “Giving something away just to put my name on the internet”. Lol.

This all started when my inbox got flooded with people that couldnt create a txt file for Twitter Friend Adder. Admittedly i should have just developed it so the application made one on its own, or at the very least zipped up a file with it in. But i have too much faith in my user base to do this, and most of all, i like handing out just the single exe. Seems so much portable. Well people cant manage to create a txt file (Or download .net framework come to think of it), and so email me saying if i dont help them they will report me to every review site they can about how im scamming them.To be honest most of the time i flick you an email back explaining it. Infact i have a pre written “Download .net 3.5 with links” and “How to create a txt file” sitting on my desktop that i just copy and paste in now.

Yeah i know, ive probably lost you with my ramblings. And even if it wasnt my pidgeon english that lost you, it was probably the fact that this makes absolutely no sense what so ever. Well your not alone. Rather then me explain it, ill just copy and paste one of the emails in here.

Ok so i recieved the above message at 6:25pm my time. Its not too late, but by this time im not helping people with their problems. Ill email him back in the morning. Then when i wake up i have this new message in my inbox :

I sent you an email and haven’t gotten a responce from you yet. I know how the email service is and how email can be stuck in spam folder so I am resending this. The question is where does the Twitter friend adder ad friends? I have checked my twitter account and there is no new people that have been added. I used my real twitter account which is speedster110 and password *****. What do you think

The above was sent at 5:39 am my time. Jesus, the guy didnt even wait 12 hours for a response. Its not as though i can have a life is it…. Not only that, but he actually did send through his password in the email. Ive blanked it out for you guys, but lord what a tool. If you have a look at his account he is just spamming teeth whitening anyway. So combining all this, I didnt really feel like helping him. I may sound like an asshole for this but I thought he could figure it out by himself. Plus i didnt want anything to do with him after he started handing me his passwords (Not that i have tried them btw, but possibly the same password for his email etc).

Well I will never find out because I feed on the uncovering of such persons. I may  not have a  large following but my  is growingI think around 25 maybe 26 millinon haven’t checked my counters lately.Still haven’t gotten your program to work, if it ever did work I am starting to wounder. You see I have written 4 emails to you asking where the friends were added. They aren’t being added to my account. I think you need to answer me by return email or I will assume you are a fake and ad to the new review sites I have everything I know about your program

Lol. I dont actually think it makes sense but anyway. I replied basically with “WTF”. And asked him what he was jabbering on about.

you are a fake   your software does not work. why give it away. does it make you fell good to get your name on the internet. you never answer my emails when I asked simple questions on how to make it work. Second question is where are the friends being added certantly not on my account I checked and rechecked. I also started a new account just to check and still no one is being added. don’t even try to say it is my computer and software I have all the latest updates inc cluding .net framework 3.5 sp1. So why does it not work? Why does it not install accounts.txt? why does it not ad anything??????????????

Now dont get me wrong. The support is here if you want it, im sure many of you have already emailed me problems. Some have even emailed me features that have been included  in subsequent versions. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. But dont email me with a chip on your shoulder thinking that I owe you 24/7 support.
